A woman on the run meets a grumpy ex-havy recluse hated by everyone in town in this steamy small-town romance.
“My heart demands I be near this broken man. Maybe we can be broken together.”
    Alex:
The only thing I’ve ever wanted was to be left alone in my secluded cabin, deep in the woods. I wear my scars as a badge of dishonor to ensure that people will stay away from me. And severe PTSD after years in the Navy just about seals the deal.
And this is how I like it: alone and quiet…
Until a beautiful trouble gets dumped on my doorstep.
    Freya:
The only thing I want is to fix my car and get the hell away from Little Hope, where I got stuck thanks to a popped tire and ‘helpful’ locals. Unfortunately, fate - apparently - has other plans for me.
That’s how I find myself at Alex’s doorstep. A local ex-navy recluse, Alex is rude, obnoxious, and scorching as hell with his grumpiness and f-off attitude.
I just want to run from this little town and from this growly man people constantly warn me about. But why does he suddenly feel like home?
They say All Roads Lead to Maine. But do they end there?
This slow-burn, strangers-to-enemies-to-lovers, contemporary romance is a standalone filled with angst, battling the demons of the past, and finding peace. Each book contains a story about a different couple. No cheating. No cliffhangers. HEA.

The language of Poetry is an art that most of us attempt at some point in our lives. Although its commonplace exposure has been somewhat marginalised in today’s often fast-paced lives we all recognise good verse that can empathise with our thoughts or open us up to experience new things in new ways, to better understand and to enjoy the many strands of our lives.
But finding a starting point can be overwhelming, even off-putting, so in this series we offer up our Top 10 classic poets, who brim with talent and verse, on a range of subjects and themes that we can all enjoy.
The United States may be far younger than many nations on Earth, yet its tumultuous history has reaped a harvest of poets and poetry of very fine calibre. In this volume we explore the verse of the South-East.

This work offers concise Key Insights & Analysis of Martyr!, by Kaveh Akbar. It is not the original book and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kaveh Akbar. Designed for readers seeking a clear, thought-provoking overview that captures the novel’s central themes and emotional depth.
A raw, lyrical journey through pain, devotion, and the search for meaning in a fractured world. The poet confronts loss, desire, and faith with unflinching honesty, weaving moments of beauty and brutality into a tapestry of the human condition. Each poem challenges the boundaries between suffering and transcendence, offering a voice that is both intimate and universal—a meditation on mortality, resilience, and the sacrifices we make for the sake of understanding ourselves.

Ex-lovers argue about when they were happiest, police officers rewrite history, and Rasputin dances like no one's watching. Oh, and also the Queen is there.
We're going to feed the present to the past. It's a kind of ritual. A kind of sacrifice. Memory always is.
Everything Not Saved by Carys D. Coburn with MALAPROP Theatre was first staged at the 2017 Dublin Fringe Festival, where it won the Georganne Aldrich Heller Award for a standout Irish artist or company that demonstrates innovation and connects with audiences. It was subsequently staged at the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Natures Silken Robes :: Bombyx mandarina
This poem was inspired by a program I saw on silkworms and their germination and metamorphosis into the adult moths (which they generally never get to because of the demand for their silk).
Domesticated silk moths don't survive the silk process of obtaining their silk. The death of the silk moth is not described in this Poem. The silk worm trade has been going for over 5,000 years and cultivated mainly in Asia.
The name the 'Silk Road' came about because of this highly lucrative trade.
The domesticated silk worms are called Bombyx mori,
and their Wild cousins are called Bombyx mandarina.

“A keen sociological eye for class and ideology; an understanding of the contradictory impulses of the human heart; an ability to conjure a place, a mood and a time through seemingly matter-of-fact descriptions.”  — Michiko Kakutani, New York TimesShocking, intimate, often uncomfortably honest, Adore reaffirms Doris Lessing’s unrivaled ability to capture the truth of the human condition.Roz and Lil have been best friends since childhood. But their bond stretches beyond familiar bounds when these middle-aged mothers fall in love with each other's teenage sons—taboo-shattering passions that last for years, until the women end them, vowing to have a respectable old age.
