Synopsis

When Umika Trae and her best friend Daren Flix discover an old chest labeled “Thank You Treasure,” they uncover blank gratitude cards, colored pens, and a riddle: “Discover the magic of appreciation.” Inspired, the duo sets off through Silverwyn to collect real “treasures”—acts of kindness and courteous gestures—to fill their chest. Baking rolls from Millie’s Bakery, safe crossings with Carla the guard, and storytime with Ms. Reed all earn heartfelt notes. With each card written, the chest glows softly, teaching young readers that genuine gratitude strengthens friendships, nurtures community, and turns simple manners into a powerful treasure.

YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES & JOHN WATSON - The case of the stolen Pianoforte.
This completely new story I have written involves the 10 year old boys who will be the great detective Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, his assistant, when they grow up, this is their formative years where they perfect their skills before adulthood on what my appear to be inconsequential subjects, but the principle remains the same.
This is just one of an extensive series I will be publishing as audio books in the very near future and I do hope you enjoy this first one, and its only $1.25 cents, all subsequent will remain at that price as I would not like price to be a barrier to your enjoyment.
I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, a violin Holme's musical instrument of choice and is energetic and the closing music ends the tale on a more restrained mode and only about 1 minute.
The story itself runs to about 5 minutes 30 seconds and is of course a short story, it is read in my own voice. The story involves the the disappearance of a PianoForte piano used to teach the son, Marmaduke, the son of a wealthy industrialist called Sir Edwin Warwick who lives in a grand mansion within sight of Buckingham Palace in London in the late 1900's. Marmaduke had grown weary of piano lessons and arranged for two older boys to take it away unbeknown to his father. Needless to say Holmes solves the mystery, recovers the piano back to Sir Edwin and is handsomely rewarded and goes onto his next case.
The stories are designed to be entertaining to children of between 6 to 10 years old due to the characters involved.
I do hope you and you children, if applicable, enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!

The Men Return by Jack Vance - Alpha caught a handful of air, a globe of blue liquid, a rock, kneaded them together....
The Relict came furtively down the crag, a shambling gaunt creature with tortured eyes. He moved in a series of quick dashes, using panels of dark air for concealment, running behind each passing shadow, at times crawling on all fours, head low to the ground. Arriving at the final low outcrop of rock, he halted and peered across the plain.
Far away rose low hills, blurring into the sky, which was mottled and sallow like poor milk-glass. The intervening plain spread like rotten velvet, black-green and wrinkled, streaked with ocher and rust. A fountain of liquid rock jetted high in the air, branched out into black coral. In the middle distance a family of gray objects evolved with a sense of purposeful destiny: spheres melted into pyramids, became domes, tufts of white spires, sky-piercing poles; then, as a final tour de force, tesseracts.
The Relict cared nothing for this; he needed food and out on the plain were plants. They would suffice in lieu of anything better. They grew in the ground, or sometimes on a floating lump of water, or surrounding a core of hard black gas. There were dank black flaps of leaf, clumps of haggard thorn, pale green bulbs, stalks with leaves and contorted flowers. There were no recognizable species, and the Relict had no means of knowing if the leaves and tendrils he had eaten yesterday would poison him today.
He tested the surface of the plain with his foot. The glassy surface (though it likewise seemed a construction of red and gray-green pyramids) accepted his weight, then suddenly sucked at his leg. In a frenzy he tore himself free, jumped back, squatted on the temporarily solid rock.

Death haunts me. Bloody, violent death.
My name is Kaidance Monroe, and I'm cursed with the gift of sight.
Snatched from obscurity by a figure shrouded in mystery, I've been sculpted into an instrument of vengeance, my visions sharpened like blades to serve his dark vendetta. Yet, within the walls of my sanctuary-turned-prison, secrets as dark as the night whispered of betrayals too deep, forcing me to flee. Now, I'm ensnared in a web spun from the threads of loyalty and power, torn between the fallen angel whose protection burns with a forbidden intensity and the divine beings who vie to ensnare me in their celestial plots. Pursued by Zeus's relentless warriors, with monstrous entities thirsting for my blood, I'm haunted by the absence of the one whose soul is entwined with mine—the one I'm compelled to escape from and drawn irresistibly towards.
With the mythical Golden Shears now within my grasp, I wield a power that could topple Olympus itself. The fate of gods and mortals hangs in the balance, hinging on my decision. Love, loyalty, and revenge are about to collide, and I'm right at the heart of it.
