Synopsis

This set includes five tales of extraordinary heroism, marvelous intrigue, and exceptional courage that have inspired and amazed people for generations. Gulliver's Travels is Jonathan Swift's comic tale of an Englishman who journeys to four fantastical and exotic lands filled with unforgettable characters, from the pint-size Lilliputians to the giant Brobdingnagians. The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood takes us to Sherwood Forest, where the brigand and his band of "merry men" rob from the rich to give to the poor - to the consternation of the Sheriff of Nottingham. The Jungle Book transports readers into a wondrous world where danger lurks behind every drooping vine and the law of the jungle is the key to survival. Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island follows young Jim Hawkins as he learns the ways of the buccaneer from a group of seafaring miscreants, including the nefarious peg leg, Long John Silver. White Fang by Jack London recreates the forbidding world of the Yukon Gold Rush, where a wild dog must endure violence, hardship, and bitter cold on his journey from savagery to civilization.

There are not many cases, even in the files of Agaton Sax, that involve ancient art, devious dentistry, false Frenchmen and a temporary tooth. The story of the Colossus of Rhodes, however, is one of them!Join Agaton Sax, Inspector Lispington, the redoubtable Aunt Matilda and the faithful dachshund Tickie on an exciting Greek adventure. The Agaton Sax series of books were first published in Sweden, later being translated into English and printed with illustrations by much-loved artist Quentin Blake (perhaps best known for his work on the books of Roald Dahl). The English translations became immensely popular, achieving the status of the most re-issued mystery & detective series in the history of Nordic children's literature. Now, for the first time, Oak Tree Books is proud to publish the entire Agaton Sax series in audio format, newly translated for the next generation and expertly narrated by Barnaby Eaton-Jones.

Would you still believe in God if aliens exist? A Christian family is faced with that difficult question when THEO, a typical nine-year-old homeschooler, watches an alien orb fall from space and land in a nearby forest.
My name is Elijah and I am a Christian author and I aim to write fiction in multiple categories that not only avoid evil concepts, but actively point my readers to King Jesus and His amazing works.
My wife and I homeschool our children and I wanted to write a book featuring homeschooler elements casually. You'll notice many novel Christian concepts are assumed in this book. That was also one of the goals of this book. I want the kids reading this book to not feel othered by being a homeschooling Christian. After all, there aren't many books with a main character in that demographic!
The main goal of this book, of course, is to address the growing concerns within the church about aliens. We are shown alien-filled Hollywood propaganda constantly and have been for several decades. Why? And why are UAP/UFO/ET sightings on the rise? Why is it that all the conservative podcasters are adamant that aliens are not only real, but have communicated with our world before? Are we seeing a return of Genesis 6-like events where demonic forces are deceiving people by the millions into disgusting practices and worship? Maybe. So why don't we talk to our kids about aliens, but from a proud and victorious Christian perspective? If aliens are real what does that mean about the existence of God?
Join me and my children in this dialogue by reading this new book... ORB: A Sci-Fi Story for Kids.
