Synopsis

Crossway Introduces the Collected Works of John Owen, Updated for Modern Readers
Regarded as one of the greatest theologians in history, 17th-century pastor John Owen wrote extensively on holiness, Scripture, the Trinity, missions, and ecclesiology. His classic works—which have inspired many Christian thinkers including Charles Spurgeon, J. I. Packer, and John Piper—remain influential, but until now haven't been offered in an easy-to-read collection.
The Complete Works of John Owen is a 40-volume series that brings together all of Owen's original theological writings, reformatted for modern readers. Volume 28, edited by Andrew M. Leslie, includes a variety of Owen's treatises, sermons, short letters, and tracts. These works cover scriptural, sacramental, and ecclesiological topics, including the integrity of Scripture, identifying and responding to habitual sin, and the importance of devotion and worship. Along with extensive introductions by the editor, this volume includes outlines, footnotes, and other supporting resources.
This landmark series—which will be published over a number of years—presents Owen's prolific work in an easy-to-read layout to reach and inspire a new generation of Bible readers and scholars to deeper faith.

EVERY PERSON HAS TWO FUNDAMENTAL PARTS inside them. One is how we think about and view ourselves—our personality or ego. The other is who we truly are—our essence. Our essence is what connects us to Ultimate Consciousness and Supreme Wisdom, and brings us closer to Ahura Mazda, or God. However, most of us live our lives unaware of our essence and remain in the lower level of our ego. We need to become conscious of our essence and transcend our ego to become who we truly are.
This transcendence can be achieved by following the ancient teaching and wisdom of Zarathustra, a spiritual teacher who lived more than 5,000 years ago in Persia. Rooted in the philosophy of good thoughts, good words, and good deeds, these teachings guide us toward becoming authentic to our true selves in our daily activities and throughout our lives.
You are invited to embark on a journey of self-discovery that will help you uncover your essence and become a more conscious being. Examine the four layers of personal identity—your needs, desires, devotion, and will—through the lens of seven attributes of Ahura Mazda, and transcend them to realize your purpose, which is to become authentic to your true self.

She needs to learn how to flirt. He needs to forget she exists. Then she asks him for help finding a husband… What could possibly go wrong?
Charlotte Westin has always been more comfortable in a saddle than a ballroom. That wouldn’t be a problem, except her father owns the largest ranch in Texas—and he insists she marry a wealthy city-slicker worthy of a cattle baron’s daughter. There might be someone out there who’d love her for who she is instead of her money, but she’s been fooled by a sweet talker before, and her family is still suffering because of it.
With an old friend-turned-enemy returning to town and cattle rustlers running roughshod over the county, Sheriff Daniel Harding knows the last thing he should be thinking about is a woman… especially the one woman he’ll never be able to marry. Then Charlotte Westin asks for his help, and Daniel can’t refuse. Until he finds out exactly what she wants…
When Charlotte comes to Daniel with a plan to find herself a husband, Daniel is forced to face his feelings for her—as well as some past mistakes of his own. But as the rustlers grow more dangerous, Charlotte’s father takes drastic steps to engage her to a man she doesn’t love. And Charlotte and Daniel soon find themselves caught between the burdens from their pasts and others’ expectations. Will they let their past choices ruin their dreams? Or will Charlotte and Daniel embrace God’s forgiveness and forge a happy future for themselves?
From jagged mountains and green river valleys, to cattle ranches and vivid sunsets, Tomorrow’s Shining Dream offers a meaningful story about simpler times, sincere faith, and unfailing love.

Wherever you are, whatever you have—it matters to God. Often, motherhood is when we need God the most, and yet have the least amount of time to spend with Him. But just as we desire to love and meet the needs of our children, so also our Heavenly Father longs to do the same for us. Too often, our time limitations—and the guilt that comes with them—have kept us from His arms and His transforming power. But the truth is, God knows the season of your life and sees your heart. Our few minutes are precious to God, and when we give them to Him, they become more than enough. In the devotional Wherever You Are, popular author Emily Assell brings us on a journey of discovering the power of declaring God’s truth—over your mama heart, your family, your parenting, and the life you’ve been given. Each of these devotions includes: Scripture reflection Encouragement, strength, and hope for the day ahead Declarations based on Scripture to speak over yourself and your family Prompts for praise, thanksgiving, and prayer When we learn to make His words our own and join them with faith, miracles can occur. Intentionally declaring God’s truth changes not only our lives but our hearts as well. We remember that all things, even our mothering, are done in and by Him. Simply give what you have, and He will meet you wherever you are. A great Mother’s Day gift or birthday or baby shower gift for moms!

What does it mean to be a woman or a man created in the image of God?
Many Christians don't have a good grasp of what their sexuality means. Many women in the church don't feel like their contributions matter.
    Why is this?
The church is sadly still confused about what it means to be a man or a woman. While secular society talks about sexuality in terms of liberation, many in the church define manhood and womanhood in terms of reductive roles that rob us of the dignity of personhood, created in the image of God.
In her poetic, theologically contemplative style, Aimee Byrd invites you to enter the rich treasure trove of the Song of Songs as its lyrics reveal how our very bodies are visible signs that tell us something about our God. This often-ignored biblical book has much to teach us about Christ, his church, man, and woman. And what it teaches us is not a list of roles and hierarchy. It is a love song.
As it unfolds throughout the canon of Scripture, the meaning of our sexuality extends beyond biology, nature, and culture to give us a glimpse of what is to come. This meaningfulness reinforces our discipleship as we participate in the eschatological song.
In The Sexual Reformation, you will discover the beautiful message that our bodies—and our whole selves—are part of the greater story in which Christ received the gift of his bride, the church. Within the context of that story, you'll rediscover your sexuality as a gift.

The Bardo Thodol - The Tibetan Book Of The Dead - Full Audiobook. **Please note: this is treated by some or many as a closed and secret sacred tradition within Shitro lineages, please express caution when viewing, unless one has proper Shitro initiation or is aware of the consequences of engaging with tantra sans guru.** The Bardo Thodol, commonly known in the West as The Tibetan Book of the Dead, is a terma text from a larger corpus of teachings, the Profound Dharma of Self-Liberation through the Intention of the Peaceful and Wrathful Ones, revealed by Karma Lingpa. The Tibetan text describes, and is intended to guide one through, the experiences that the consciousness has after death, in the bardo, the interval between death and the next rebirth. The text also includes chapters on the signs of death and rituals to undertake when death is closing in or has taken place. The text can be used as either an advanced practice for trained meditators or to support the uninitiated during the death experience.
