I recently saw several predictions by well-known seers of the future that there will be a huge natural disaster in June/July of 2025.
Whether a disaster from a comet crashing into the Earth, a huge volcanic eruption or earthquake or a nuclear war; the likelihood of humanity suffering a period of global cooling is that it will happen—and has already happened in the past.
Disasters could actually cause global cooling for months or years. In trying to lookup any books on how to individuals and society should handle global cooling I couldn’t find anything. So I decided to write a manual dealing with this issue.
    This manual has five parts:
    Part One-Understanding the Threat
    Part Two-Preparation and Prevention
    Part Three-Surviving the Freeze
    Part Four-Rebuilding in the ICE
    Part Five-Looking Forward
Historical examples of how mankind dealt with global cooling in the past are included as well as lots of advice on how to recognize this process happening to our world, and how to deal with the consequences.
Survival for both individuals and society, and how to plan for the future.
I hope this situation never happens in our lifetimes but this book might be an aid to survival in those circumstances.

A detailed exploration of parents' fight for a safe environment for their kids, interrogating how race, class, and gender shape health advocacy

The success of food allergy activism in highlighting the dangers of foodborne allergens shows how illness communities can effectively advocate for the needs of their members. In Food Allergy Advocacy, Danya Glabau follows parents and activists as they fight for allergen-free environments, accurate labeling, the fair application of disability law, and access to life-saving medications for food-allergic children in the United States. At the same time, she shows how this activism also reproduces the culturally dominant politics of personhood and responsibility, based on an idealized version of the American family, centered around white, middle-class, and heteronormative motherhood.

By holding up the threat of food allergens to the white nuclear family to galvanize political and scientific action, Glabau shows, the movement excludes many, including Black women and disabled adults, whose families and health have too often been marginalized from public health and social safety net programs. Further, its strategies are founded on the assumption that market-based solutions will address issues of social exclusion and equal access to healthcare.

    ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK
"The Lucky One" by Nicholas Sparks tells the story of Logan Thibault, a former Marine, who is on a journey to find a woman in a photograph he discovered in Iraq. Driven by a sense of destiny and the belief that the photo saved his life, Logan travels across the country and ends up in a small town in North Carolina where he hopes to find her. He meets Beth Green, a single mother, who is hesitant to trust him because of a difficult past. As they get to know each other, they face challenges stemming from lies and deception, as well as the controlling influence of Beth's ex-husband, Deputy Keith Clayton. The story explores themes of fate, the impact of war, and the power of love and healing.
