Synopsis

They woke with no memories—only fear.

Four strangers—Chaya, Khalid, Jian, and Omar—regain consciousness in a lush, closed biosphere with no names, no pasts, and no way out. The surrounding jungle is beautiful, but wrong. Monitored. Controlled. Designed.

As they unravel the truth about the world they've been placed in, it becomes clear: someone planned this. It’s a test. Observed by entities beyond human understanding—possibly alien, possibly post-human—they are part of a recursive experiment to determine what is worth saving from a collapsed Earth. In this brutal game of survival and identity, only one can choose: repeat the cycle...or end it forever.

AWAKE is a dark, character-driven science fiction thriller that blends the psychological tension of The Hunger Games with the haunting mystery Annihilation. For readers who enjoy gripping survival stories, existential dilemmas, and slow-burning suspense in a speculative setting.

"Coming to the Kṛṣṇa Bhakti-Yoga tradition, especially the Gaudiya Vaisnavas from India I found shelter and made friends with the Hare Kṛṣṇa lifestyle and movement. Yoga means "Union" or "to link up", this refers to the Absolute Truth which comes in a personal and impersonal form. This wisdom of Yoga is manifested in the Vedas, the Word of God. The Vedas discuss Polymorphic Bi-Monotheism, a unique Supreme God who is apparent in Radha-Kṛṣṇa, the divine couple, manifesting in many forms. Studying this tradition is fun and practical. It turned my personal life around and became my life and soul. For example, learning Sanskrit, the Mother of all Languages is great joy. Śraddhā is a Sanskrit term and refers to the root of this tree of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. How can one believe in such a wonderful theology?"

After going through three elderly leaders in three years, Mikhail Gorbachev was chosen as the new General Secretary of the Soviet Union at the relatively youg age of 54 in March 1985. Gorbachev hoped to build the Soviet economy to relieve the persistent shortages of consumer goods it faced, which were caused by enormous military spending of the Soviet Union. Gorbachev tried to introduce some economic reforms, but they were blocked by communist hardliners. Gorbachev then came to the belief that the Soviet economy could not improved without political reform as well.
In comparison with other Soviet leaders, Gorbachev was leader of the USSR for a relatively short period, but the changes that took place under his leadership were monumental, including some that were intended and others that were unforeseen. Gorbachev oversaw the end of the Cold War and the peaceful transition away from communism in Central and Eastern Europe, and he ended the war in Afghanistan and many other proxy conflicts in the developing world. Gorbachev improved relations with the West and developed enough trust with President Ronald Reagan and President George H.W. Bush to decommission thousands of nuclear weapons. He also liberalized the political environment within the Soviet Union itself, increased accountability, and brought in a certain degree of democracy.
Gorbachev was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for these efforts in 1990, but his regime also left a legacy of turbulence and destruction in its wake. As a result of his policies, many Soviet people rose up against the status quo, demanding national self-determination and reviving old grievances. Gorbachev could not prevent the USSR from disbanding at the end of 1991, leaving much of the country’s economy in ruins and nationalist and ethnic conflicts that are still unresolved today.

From the flag-draped presidential box, Abraham Lincoln watched the popular comedy on stage at the Ford Theater. As he laughed at a funny line--Bang! A single shot rang out from a small derringer, the sound barely audible over the laughter of the crowd. Abe slumped forward, blood running from behind his left ear. When President Lincoln died the next morning, the United States mourned as it had never mourned before. An assassin had killed the man who had led Americans through the bloody turmoil of the Civil War with an unswerving commitment to rebuilding a strong and united country.Abe Lincoln had never set his sights on becoming president; after all, he'd grown up in a log cabin on the frontier and had hardly any formal schooling. But as the quesion of slavery threatened to destroy the United Sates, this self-taught lawyer with a sharp mind and passion for justice found himself at the center of the greatest debate the nation had ever faced

Mere Aaka.....Born into an influential family in Pakistan, Tehmeena Durani was raised in the elite society of Lahore, where, like other women in her family, she was expected to marry a wealthy and respectable Muslim man, bear children, and live a life of luxury and comfort; however, her marriage to Mustafa Khar—one of Pakistan’s most famous politicians—soon turned into a terrifying nightmare, as the jealous, arrogant, and narrow-minded Khar completely cut her off from the outside world and confined her within the four walls of the house like a prisoner, a situation she silently endured for fourteen years until she finally decided to rebel, a decision that came at a heavy cost, forcing her as a divorced Muslim woman to give up all rights to her husband’s property and leaving her with no rights over her children, while not only her parents but even her friends abandoned her and began to look at her with hatred and contempt; Tehmina Durrani’s story exposes the condition of a woman trapped in the web of a rigid Muslim society, and this book can be downloaded and listened to in full on the Suhavi Audiobooks app and shared with others.

One of Charles Bukowski's best, this beer-soaked, deliciously degenerate novel follows the wanderings of aspiring writer Henry Chinaski across World War II-era America. Deferred from military service, Chinaski travels from city to city, moving listlessly from one odd job to another, always needing money but never badly enough to keep a job. His day-to-day existence spirals into an endless litany of pathetic whores, sordid rooms, dreary embraces, and drunken brawls, as he makes his bitter, brilliant way from one drink to the next.
Charles Bukowski's posthumous legend continues to grow. Factotum is a masterfully vivid evocation of slow-paced, low-life urbanity and alcoholism, and an excellent introduction to the fictional world of Charles Bukowski.
