Synopsis

The first installment in a series starring a mercenary and her unlikely partner, "The Price" is a dark, character-driven tale about the inevitable cost of choices, both past and present. 
Short on cash and looking for a break, a young mercenary and her partner arrive in a seemingly peaceful mountain village. But what begins as an insignificant stop quickly turns tense when they stumble upon a simmering conflict between the villagers and a group of armed deserters. Hoping to help—and earn enough to keep going—they intervene, only to become further entangled in old wounds, questionable loyalties, and decisions with no happy ending.
