Synopsis

Summer in Murfreesboro, Arkansas means one thing—diamond hunting at the Crater of Diamonds State Park. Mystery author and full-time RVer, Anne Marie Chandler, barely sinks her shovel into the dirt when she uncovers a sparkling diamond. Too bad it's set in a gold band and on the finger of a dead body! It gives a whole new meaning to the phrase remains to be seen . . .  
 
Anne Marie enters the world of high-stakes amateur prospecting when it's discovered that the victim, a cold-hearted state park director, had been in possession of the largest diamond ever found at the mine, the elusive McGuffin miners have been hunting for over fifty years. The pressure is on when the Chief of Police, who is also one of her biggest fans, asks her to find some clarity in this complicated case . . . and to speak at the local book club meeting. 
 
Anne Marie isn't sure she's cut out for a case involving jaded suspects and secrets hidden deep beneath the surface. Together with her rock-solid group of friends, she'll do her best to remain calm under pressure while excavating the clues and sifting through the suspects. Her investigating skills might be a bit rough around the edges, but she's determined to identify the real killer . . . and then find a diamond of her own!
