Summary

Disaster looms in the countryside. A dismally wet spring threatens to wipe out the summer harvests, and ruin the eggs of nesting birds. Against this emerging backdrop is set an exciting, evocative and often very amusing story that takes the reader directly into the lives of the birds and animals for whom the weather can be both friend – and implacable foe.
The wise old toad, Tarquin, warns the animal community that without a successful harvest, starvation will follow in the winter. Meanwhile Wrecker the Weasel, leader of a group of professional egg thieves, is struggling to find – and steal – enough eggs to meet the demands of dangerous and powerful figures in the ferret underworld. Salvation for all could lie in the grain stores and hen house of nearby Half Mile Farm, but with the farm in the brutal grip of rodent gangster ‘Monsta’ the Rat, what steps can the beleaguered creatures take to secure their livelihoods – and their very survival?

Dua (prayer of supplications to Allah) should be a habit in every Muslim’s day-to-day affairs so they can talk to Allah consistently and build a healthy relationship with Him. Dua prayer is a believer’s most powerful weapon, and remembering Allah (God) often is an act that draws one closer to his Creator; through praising Him, reflecting on His attributes, and seeking His forgiveness. Reciting Islamic dua in a daily routine is one of the most beautiful ways of remembering Allah SWT. Through praising Him, reflecting on His attributes, and seeking His forgiveness, we can build a strong relationship with Allah. As parents, our goal should be to raise children who think and converse with Allah often, so they can grow up with a healthy Islamic mindset.
★★My First Dua from The Holy Quran ★★will inshAllah take your child’s relationship with Allah to another level. This child Islamic book will teach your child some of the Holy Coran’s most popular duas in Arabic and English, along with a description and explanation of the dua-- helping your child understand what the dua prayer for children means and when they should recite it in their lives. This Muslim child book aims to make it easier for your child to memorize the dua prayer for kids and apply them in their daily lives, just like the past Messengers and Prophets of God did to seek guidance and assistance from Allah (God), the Glorious.
Equip your child with a Muslim’s most powerful weapon, dua for kids (supplication for kids) to Allah, the Most-Generous, so they can start to talk to Allah and build a relationship with him. They can begin by learning and memorizing Dua, so it can be ingrained in their heart and mind. ❤️

The strong, vigorous, exalted character of a doting father who loved playing with his children and their pets, even while serving as the President of the United States, stands revealed in this selection of letters he wrote his children throughout their school years. They shed light on the cheerful man who remained throughout his life as pure and gentle as the soul of a child, plus many little reveals that there were squirrels nesting in the presidential bedroom, rats in the basement, and children's pranks that damaged the White House artwork! Many of these letters are considered valuable guides for youth in all ranks of life, notably those on the relative merits of civil and military careers, and the proper proportions of sport and study. Only a short time before he died, Teddy Roosevelt said "I would rather have this book published than anything that has ever been written about me." ~ Summary by Michele FryNOTE: Roosevelt gave titles to all his letters, and all letters in this audio collection are recorded in sequential order with their titles. Most are too short to be published as separate audio files, thus several have been combined in most cases.

Right from the start, Zinny knew that uncovering the trail would be more than just a summer project. It was her chance to finally make people notice her, and to have a place she could call her very own. But more than that, Zinny knew that the trail somehow held the key to all kinds of questions. And that -- the only way to understand her family, her Aunt Jessie's death, and herself, was to find out where it went.
From the author of the Newbery Medal-winning Walk Two Moons, here is an intricately woven tale of a young girl who sets out in search of her place in the world -- and discovers it in her own backyard.
