  Some might say, its in our DNA. That maybe so.  
  The Greeks knew how to display it, as both eroticism and as an Art form. 
  Showing both sexes in the 'Perfect' perfection of Beauty! 
  Unfortunately; the human form, especially the female human form has been in the last few decades 
  since the new renaissance or as we call the sexual revolution or as is now the 'free society'. 
  Denigrated to an object not of art but purely of desire, or descended into the more pornographic exploitive realms of decor art.

  A Rare Recording of Albert...

  Albert Henry Woolson (February 11, 1850 - August 2, 1956) was the last known surviving member of the Union Army who served in the American Civil War; he was also the last surviving Civil War veteran on either side whose status is undisputed. Woolson was born in Antwerp, New York, in Jefferson County. His father, Willard Woolson, who enlisted in the Union Army, was wounded at the Battle of Shiloh and later transported to an Army hospital in Windom, Minnesota, where he would die of his wounds. Albert and his mother moved to Windom to accompany his father. Soon after, Albert enlisted as a drummer boy in Company C, 1st Minnesota Heavy Artillery Regiment on October 10, 1864. However, the company never saw action, and Albert Woolson was discharged on September 7, 1865. Woolson returned to Minnesota, where he lived the rest of his life as a carpenter and, later, as a member of the Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.), a powerful political organization made up of Civil War veterans where he became Senior Vice Commander-in-Chief in 1953. The following interview was recorded in 1954.

  Drawing of the postmodern perspective and concerns that informed her groundbreaking Terpsichore in Sneakers, Sally Banes's Writing Dancing documents the background and developments of avant-garde and popular dance, analyzing individual artists, performances, and entire dance movements. With a sure grasp of shifting cultural dynamics, Banes shows how postmodern dance is integrally connected to other oppositional, often marginalized strands of dance culture, and considers how certain kinds of dance move from the margins to the mainstream.Banes begins by considering the act of dance criticism itself, exploring its modes, methods, and underlying assumptions, and examining the work of other critics. She traces the development of contemporary dance from the early work of such influential figures as Merce Cunningham and George Balanchine to such contemporary choreographers as Molissa Fenley, Karole Armitage, and Michael Clark. She analyzes the contributions of the Judson Dance Theatre and the Workers' Dance League, the emergence of Latin postmodern dance in New York, and the impact of black jazz in Russia.
