Synopsis

As an intrepid reporter for one of London's most widely read tabloids, Jessica Bannister is certainly no stranger to danger and often ends up in dicey situations of the supernatural variety while attempting to bag her next scoop, but when her adversaries have the ability to turn a friend into a foe, she finds herself in a whole new level of peril, unable to trust those closest to her and occasionally even herself! A revelation about her past makes her re-evaluate her supernatural gifts and once again she is left wondering whether they are a boon or a bane, and what exactly the trail of death left in their wake means for her future. While she wrestles with all of these existential questions about the nature of her powers, she finds herself haunted by sinister monks, long-dead serial killers, and perhaps most perplexing of all, unusually vicious swans. What terrifies her the most, however, is the evil that lurks in the hearts of man, and how easy it is for it to bubble up to the surface.

A ghost and an exorcist make an unlikely pair. But from the moment Maggie Hathorn tumbled into Reverend Coronado, it was love at first possession…
In 1899 Manhattan, the impending turn of the century has put both the living and the dead on edge. As the spirit of a socialite who has haunted the city streets for longer than she walked them, Maggie now spends her afterlife helping to solve crimes for New York City’s Ghost Precinct. When Coronado gets roped into investigating a murder at a nearby church, Maggie jumps at the opportunity to flex her sleuthing skills and spend more time with the distressingly handsome reverend. But as familiar with death as Maggie is, she is not prepared for the gruesome sight of the crime scene. A beautiful bride lies in a pool of blood beside her beloved, in a scene that reminds Maggie of her own final moments. Maggie can’t even look at the bride’s ghost without being thrust into traumatic memories and losing her grip on the living world. The last thing Maggie wants is to lose this spectral second chance at life that she’s been given. But how can she help this dead bride without endangering her own spirit? Maggie will have to draw on her strongest bonds and connections to keep herself tethered while she confronts her own mortality. It’s a good thing Reverend Coronado is there by her side. No one else has ever made her feel so alive.

Local legend says Trinity Row is the house that won't die. Local legend isn't wrong.
Sixteen-year-old Ivy Black and her mom have moved in for a quick renovation to make an easy buck. Then it will be on to the next rundown, abandoned eyesore.
    Simple.
    Move.
    Fix.
    Sell.
    Run.
For the last three years, Ivy and her mom have run far away from their past. That's the thing about Trinity Row, though. It doesn't let the past die.
When Ivy finds out that the friends she thought she made and the things she thought she's seen aren't exactly what she believed, she goes on a mission to free her mother from the snare of Trinity Row and the evil spirit controlling it.
Except, after a trip to Trinity Row, you'll never want to go home again.
For fans of The Haunting of Hill House and Kendare Blake's Anna Dressed in Blood.

A bizarre and rather personal case brought us to the Somerset Gardens Sanatorium. An evil entity that haunted an innocent young girl took an unhealthy interest in me, and the consequences of ignoring its influence were utterly catastrophic.
The violence and mayhem wrought upon the Professor's laboratory were brought about through my own arrogance, and were it not for the sacrifice of others I would have lost that most fragile of gifts, Sanity.
This is the tenth book of the Paranormology Series.

There is something about the number 3.
The Ancient Greeks believed 3 was the perfect number, and in China 3 has always been a lucky number, and they know a thing or two.
Most religions also have 3 this and 3 that and, of course, in these more modern times, three’s a crowd may be too many, except when it’s a ménage à trois. It seems good things usually come in threes.
Whatever history and culture says WE think 3, a hat-trick of stories, is a great number to explore themes and literary avenues that classic authors were so adept at creating.

Necromancer Lesson #1: Never step into a summoning circle with a goat shifter and a candle.
I’m a costume shop owner, not a demon hunter. My life was supposed to be filled with tequila shots and vintage clothing.
But when I accidentally unleash a demon on Kansas City, the Tribunal labels me a walking menace. Then, they give me a two-week ultimatum—send him back to hell or face the consequences. The only problem? I have no idea how to do that.
I’ve got a goat shifter in my corner. I also have a sexy-as-sin enforcer I need to keep at arm’s length and a necromancer offering a crash course in death magic. However, the more powerful I get, the bigger the target on my back becomes.
I’m about to find out who I can trust and who is determined to kill me.
Threading the Bones is the second book in the Kali James series, featuring a reluctant necromancer who finds herself in a world of werewolves, vampires, and ghosts. If you like your urban fantasy with quirky characters, a side of supernatural mystery, and a dose of slow-burn romance, this series is for you.
