Norse myth and folklore are loosely associated with a pattern that comprises complex characters and riveting tales. This is a reason why it takes up a significant place in history today and shows up often in pop culture. (Think Netflix’s Vikings). In essence, Norse mythology is a collection of stories that were spoken aloud and eventually written by the Vikings or the Norsemen and the Germanic people who resided in the present-day Scandinavian region between the periods, c. 790- c. 1100 CE. The deities worshipped were an integral part of their religion that also shaped their culture and strengthened their theology.
In essence, Norse folklore is much more profound and deep-seated than you think. In fact, the narratives which are retold today just touch the tip of the iceberg. This is also because we live in an oral society, where the myths and customs discussed can evaporate quite easily. In the past, the present-day Scandinavia region (primarily Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, along with some parts of Iceland) was overwhelmingly oral too, which is possibly why we don’t have a detailed sketch of this interesting mythical domain. The intricacy of the stories which have survived and which have been recorded may change your opinion of mythology as a whole and Norse mythology in particular as it is represented in some of the most comprehensive tales today.

For the novice as well as the sophisticate, this audiobook is full of surprises. It includes subtle discoveries lying just “beneath” the text - hidden messages, encryptions, deliberate misspellings, and other amendments to the text - that present implications beyond the immediate context, demonstrating a skillful design that has its origin from outside our space and time. Drawing upon more than 40 years of collecting, Chuck highlights in this study many of the precious nuggets that have become characteristic of his popular Bible studies around the world. It is guaranteed to stimulate, prove, and hopefully disturb. It will confound the skeptic and encourage the believer. It is a "must" for every thinking seeker of truth and serious inquirer of reality.

What seemed an ordinary trip on the 101 freeway in Southern California in 2005 turned out for T.L. and his friend Kayla to be anything but ordinary. It begins as a dream adventure but deteriorates quickly into a dangerous nightmare. After seemingly miles and miles of aimless driving, they realize they can’t leave and are in a time loop to nowhere. They also come to the chilling realization that they are not alone. Kayla is attacked and overtaken by an unfriendly foreign presence she calls “him.” And T.L., in this harrowing tale, must keep from believing the lie she and “he” is telling him: That he is dead, in hell, and has missed the coming of Jesus Christ. This battle in the spiritual realm forces Kayla and T.L. to come to terms with their sin, and only by the Spirit of God will they know the truth from the lie and get set free.
