Synopsis

In this third novel in the Jake Cooper series, Jake is tasked with finding a missing kosher supervisor. When the missing supervisor turns up dead, Mindy’s son, Adam, is arrested for his murder. 
Jake uncovers evidence he withholds to protect Adam and Mindy, risking his relationship with Retired Detective Roberts and the police. 
To prove Adam’s innocence, Jake puts himself in peril by threatening the real killer.
