  The interest generated by our first book on High Sensitivity has encouraged us to continue with the dissemination of the trait. This second book focuses more on the difficulties experienced by highly sensitive people as well as on the psychological abilities they possess. Knowing how to manage the trait of High Sensitivity is fundamental to achieve the maximum potential in the personal growth of the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). Hence the importance of knowing how to meet the needs of highly sensitive children (HSC) from an early age. HSC children become HSP adults. Solve the issue from childhood, avoid the need for treatments later on. Throughout life, the HSP can go through transient psychological problems or disorders, derived from mismanagement of their trait. In these pages, we try to reflect real examples of people who have come to a psychology consultation looking for a solution to the ”bumps in the road”. Many HSPs discover it in the wake of one of these ups and downs in their lives. Knowing how to take the right path, choosing to have people close to them who respect the HSP trait, and learning to set limits, are the objectives most demanded by the HSPs who are treated by a mental health professional. This book aims to help both the reader, as well as the health or medical professional since, based on our experience as professional experts of High Sensitivity, we try to offer solutions to the problems that arise from being a HSP, examples of people who have gone through the same stages, as well as show some of the most common disorders derived from having this particular personality trait. Although being a HSP or HSC is not a disorder, it is necessary to learn to adapt to today`s society until society becomes familiar with High Sensitivity.

  Thanatology, the study of death and the processes surrounding it, has deep historical roots. While the formal discipline emerged in the 20th century, human fascination with death dates back to ancient times. Early civilizations developed complex rituals, beliefs, and philosophies surrounding death, shaping the way societies understood and coped with mortality. Over time, thanatology evolved from religious and philosophical inquiries to a multidisciplinary field incorporating medical, psychological, and sociological perspectives. 
  In ancient societies, death was often viewed through a spiritual or mythological lens. Egyptian, Greek, and Hindu traditions conceptualized the afterlife in elaborate ways, influencing burial practices and rituals. The Egyptians, for instance, believed in the preservation of the body for the soul’s journey in the afterlife, leading to the practice of mummification. Similarly, Greek philosophy—particularly the works of Plato—explored the soul’s immortality and the nature of existence beyond death. These early interpretations laid the groundwork for later philosophical and religious discussions on mortality. 
  The Middle Ages saw the dominance of religious perspectives on death, with Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism offering moral and theological frameworks for understanding mortality. Death was often seen as a transition rather than an end, shaping attitudes toward dying and burial practices. The Black Death in the 14th century significantly influenced perceptions of death, leading to a greater emphasis on the fragility of life and the afterlife. Art, literature, and religious texts from this period reflect a deep engagement with the themes of death and salvation.

  Pancho Villa - The Bandit That...

  Francisco Villa, better known as Pancho Villa, was a key figure in the Mexican Revolution, known for his transformation from a bandit to one of the revolution’s most influential commanders. Villa’s rise to prominence in the early 20th century marked him as a central player in the violent upheavals that reshaped Mexico’s political landscape. In 1911, Villa became a significant actor in the revolutionary violence that led to the overthrow of President Porfirio Díaz, ushering in Francisco I. Madero’s government. Villa, initially a leader of outlaw groups, aligned himself with Madero’s revolutionary cause, contributing to the instability that culminated in the fall of Díaz’s long-standing dictatorship. 
  The power dynamics in the revolution shifted again when General Victoriano Huerta attempted a right-wing coup in February 1913. As Madero’s government crumbled under Huerta’s forces, Madero led anti-Huerta soldiers in the Constitutionalist Army from 1913 to 1914. The civilian governor of Coahuila, Venustiano Carranza, became the leader of this anti-Huerta coalition. After Huerta’s eventual defeat and exile in July 1914, Villa and Carranza began to diverge politically. Villa, alongside other revolutionary leaders, assembled a gathering of generals in a bid to form a new government, but the resulting coalition was weak and inefficient. Though Villa and Emiliano Zapata, another revolutionary leader, were formally allied during this period, their partnership was largely theoretical. Both men supported land reform, but Villa’s reforms remained unrealized during his tenure of influence.

  This audiobook is divided into units.While it provides different learning patterns and accommodates various needs, this audiobook focuses on helping you improve your ability to understand, speak, and memorise Turkish.  
  In Unit 1 you will hear Turkish decoded with each syllable spoken very slowly and clearly with repetition. Immediately before each sentence is spoken, you will hear the translation, so you will always understand what is being said. 
  Unit 2 focuses solely on increasing your listening ability, which will improve your abilities to engage in dialogue with a native Turkish speaker. This chapter requires you to listen very carefully to nuances in the language. 
  By Unit 3 you will already notice progress in your abilities to speak and understand Turkish. The spoken translation is followed by two repetitions in Turkish at a completely natural speed. While you are learning to process naturally spoken Turkish, Units 3 and 4 will help you memorise new vocabulary and full sentences. 
  In Unit 5 you can test yourself on how much you have learned. If you are having difficulties, we suggest you revisit the listening, speaking, or memorisation section of Units 1, 2 3 or 4, according to what you need more help with.
