Whenever the author-illustrator runs in a field, climbs a hill, or swims in the sea in Israel, she looks for something small to hold in her hand. She finds a basalt pebble from the ice-cold Dan River, formed from lava over 100,000 years ago. Israel's national bird, the hoopoe, leaves a feather in the grass at HaYarkon Park. Dead hood coral grows in the Red Sea, where fish play hide-and-seek. She holds small things in her hand and then leaves them in their habitats . . . for the reader to find.

From a suckling bear cub that loses her mother, to a canary who was handicapped and couldn't find love, Woody and his friends care deeply for all the animals struggling in the forest. But everything changed when It walked in. Unlike the other animals, this was conscious of their presence as it looked at them with eyes that held more intelligence than they dared to admit. How little it looked, how vulnerable it seemed. How wrong the trees were to underestimate it. Woody will soon learn the complex ways of men as he is forced to let go of all that is dear to him; his home, his friends and takes a stand in a world that offers little for his kind.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to truly love yourself? To feel worthy, confident, and enough in your own skin? I asked myself that same question during a three-year relationship. One day, I realized I didn’t love myself—I didn’t feel good enough to be someone’s wife, or even worthy of being a girlfriend. That’s when I made a life-changing decision: I chose to end the relationship and begin a journey to learn how to love myself.
Choose You, But You Choose is a self-love book for men and women, offering an honest and heartfelt look at breaking free from the need for external validation. We often stay in relationships or situations out of fear or comfort, but true self-love means making difficult, sometimes uncomfortable choices. Whether it’s walking away from a relationship, confronting a vice, or facing a hard truth, the choice to love yourself is always yours.
This self-love workbook will guide you through that process. If you’ve ever struggled with feelings of unworthiness or wondered how to love yourself, this book offers practical tools and encouragement to help you on your journey. You’ll discover how to choose self-love over unhealthy relationships, bad habits, or external distractions, and realize that you are worthy of love, trust, and betting on yourself.
Sometimes, the biggest risk you’ll ever take is on yourself—and that’s one worth taking. Are you ready to choose you?
