Synopsis

Can a vulnerable human become a dragon warrior’s greatest treasure? 
For generations, Drakkar’s people have chosen to live alone, only coming together for brief periods, but when he joins the battle raging across his home planet, he finds an unexpected family in a set of misfit warriors. After the war ends, he chooses to cut all ties to his past and accompany his new brothers to a backwater planet. 
He knows he is not suited for a mate and a family, but as he watches his brothers choose human brides, he finds himself envying those relationships. Then a vulnerable female awakens his protective instincts. He is determined to save her - and her precious child - even though he knows he cannot keep them. 
Kitty has a history of foolish decisions, but now that she has a child to protect she is determined to change her ways. She refuses to let the arrogant dragon-like warrior who rescues her become yet another mistake. But there is a hidden vulnerability behind his haughty demeanor, and once again her heart threatens to lead her astray. 
Stranded in an isolated mountain cave in the middle of a blizzard, can Kitty find the courage to trust again? And can Drakkar overcome a lifetime of solitude for a chance at happiness?
