Synopsis

🧶 Yarn shop owner and master knitter Stella Stitchwell is hosting the annual Fiber Arts Festival in her cozy shop, "The Yielding Yarn," when a renowned textile designer is found strangled with a rare, hand-spun wool yarn. The murder weapon comes from Stella's own exclusive inventory, making her the prime suspect. To clear her name, Stella must unravel the tangled relationships within her tight-knit crafting community. With help from her weekly knitting circle and a handsome local sheep farmer, Stella follows a trail of fiber clues—from dye lot discrepancies to distinctive spinning techniques that point to specific artisans. Each knitted pattern, woven design, and spun yarn holds coded messages about jealousy, stolen designs, and decades-old creative rivalries. But as Stella stitches together the evidence, she discovers the killer is someone she's trusted with her patterns and her friendship—and they're weaving a final, fatal design with Stella at the center.
