Synopsis

🍺 The annual Hops & Dreams Craft Beer Festival in the mountain town of Barleyville is the event of the season for brewmaster Hops "Hoppy" Henderson. But the celebration turns bitter when a renowned beer critic—known for his brutal reviews—drops dead after sampling Hoppy's signature double IPA. When the police discover the beer was laced with a rare, toxic plant, Hoppy's brewery is shut down and she becomes the prime suspect. To save her business and clear her name, Hoppy must investigate the close-knit—and fiercely competitive—world of craft brewing. With help from her loyal golden retriever, Barley, and a handsome botanist who knows his poisons, Hoppy uncovers a fermenting vat of motives. From stolen recipes and sabotage to secret ingredients and bitter rivalries, every clue points to a different suspect. Can Hoppy tap the truth before the killer decides to brew up another deadly batch?
