Synopsis

🏖️ When marine biologist Cora Seabrook returns to her childhood seaside town to run the local aquarium, she expects peaceful days of studying marine life and giving dolphin tours. But when the town's most disliked developer washes ashore during the annual Sandcastle Festival, Cora's scientific mind spots inconsistencies the police overlook. The victim had been threatening to build a resort that would destroy the town's natural coastline, making enemies of local business owners, environmental activists, and even Cora's own family. With a hurricane approaching and the town cut off from the mainland, Cora must use her knowledge of ocean currents, marine evidence, and coastal ecology to piece together the truth. But in a town where everyone has something to hide, Cora discovers that some secrets run as deep as the ocean—and the killer is still watching from the shore.
