Sinopsis

🔢 Knitting shop owner and counting tool designer Countessa Click is launching her new line of digital row counters when the product's manufacturing partner—a notorious cut-throat business executive—is found dead in her shop, surrounded by row counters all displaying the same suspicious number sequence. The police suspect a heart attack, but Countessa notices the numbers form a Fibonacci pattern and the victim's production notes contain coded quality control reports. With her product launch in jeopardy and the knitting community counting on her, Countessa must tally up the clues. Assisted by her knitting math club and the handsome engineer analyzing mechanical failures, Countessa uncovers a scheme involving counterfeit counters, stolen technology, and a plot to sabotage small knitting tool companies. From suspicious reset mechanisms that reveal planned obsolescence to digital displays that don't match factory specifications, every counted row tells a story. But when Countessa discovers the victim was systematically installing faulty chips in competitors' products to undermine their reputation, she realizes the killer is protecting crafters from inferior tools more valuable than any corporate profit. With the knitting tool expo approaching and the real saboteur still counting on deception, Countessa must calculate the truth before her own business gets permanently subtracted from the market.
