Synopsis

🏺 The new "Curse of the Pharaohs" exhibit at the local museum is the talk of the town—until the lead curator is found dead in the sarcophagus of the main attraction, a recently unearthed mummy. The police are quick to call it a tragic accident, but museum archivist and part-time history professor Dr. Eliza Sands knows better. The scene is a perfect replica of an ancient Egyptian ritual murder, and the clues point to someone with intimate knowledge of both the museum and Egyptology. To uncover the truth, Eliza must decipher hieroglyphic hints and follow a trail of ancient artifacts and modern motives. With help from her clever cat, Anubis, and a handsome archaeologist who knows more about the mummy than he's letting on, Eliza uncovers a web of stolen artifacts, academic rivalry, and a family secret someone is willing to kill to protect. Can she solve this ancient puzzle before the killer decides to add another body to the exhibit?
