Synopsis

🧤 Garden center owner Lily Bloom is preparing for the annual Spring Flower Show when her main competitor, the notoriously ruthless garden guru Hortense Greenleaf, is found face-down in a prize-winning rose bush—with Lily's distinctive gardening glove clutched in her hand. The police see an open-and-shut case, but Lily knows someone is trying to plant evidence. With her business wilting under suspicion, Lily must dig deep to clear her name. Assisted by her retired botanist grandmother and the handsome landscape architect designing the show, Lily uncovers a thorny patch of secrets in the competitive gardening world. From sabotaged seedlings to mysterious soil samples that don't match the victim's garden, every clue points to a killer with green thumbs and dirty hands. But when Lily discovers Hortense was blackmailing half the gardening community about stolen hybrid recipes and fake organic certifications, she realizes the motive is buried deeper than taproots. With the flower show approaching and the real killer still on the loose, Lily must weed out the truth before she becomes the next victim in this garden of earthly delights gone wrong.
