🎉 The vibrant town of Sol y Sombra is in full swing for its annual Cinco de Mayo fiesta, a celebration filled with music, dancing, and colorful piñatas. But the festive mood shatters when the event's main sponsor—a wealthy businessman known for his shady deals—collapses after biting into a chili-spiced mango paleta. The cause is a fast-acting, undetectable poison. The prime suspect is the paleta's maker, Carmen, whose family-owned ice cream shop stands in the way of the victim's latest development project. To clear her name and save her family's legacy, Carmen must investigate the fiesta's attendees. With help from her mischievous chihuahua, Churro, and a visiting ethnobotanist studying local plants, Carmen uncovers a piñata full of motives. From rigged lottery tickets and stolen recipes to a secret family connection and a decades-old grudge over a stolen piñata design, the celebration hides bitter rivalries. As the fiesta reaches its climax, Carmen must break through the lies before the killer decides to strike again.
