Synopsis

Enjoy this short story by Hellen Heels. 
“After the way you have harped about Halloween, you decide to celebrate it in a nice and quiet atmosphere? And at home?” 
He shrugged. “Well I figured that it would be a good idea to spend the night together alone, Beth.” 
“It would not work for me, Tommy.” 
“Why?” 
“Isn't there going to be a costume?” 
He scratched his head. “Costume?” 
“Yes, darling. Who doesn't know that Halloween goes with costumes?” 
“Okay. That's not a problem. I would get the costumes for us.” 
“And speaking of costumes, why don't we both get each other a costume?” 
“What do you mean?” 
“You understand what I mean. I would buy you what I would like to see you dressed up in and you can do the same for me.” 
“I see. But would you have the time to do it? I mean, considering that you're going to be busy at work and all.” 
“That wouldn't be a problem for me. I can shop online and have it delivered to me.” 
“Okay. No problem. If you want it that way then so be it. I think that I kind of like the idea too. We can buy each other what we would love to see on each other.”
