Synopsis
This is the classic science fiction novel by H.G. Wells, firt published in 1895. The story revolves around a scientist in Victorian England, who invents a time machine and travels to the future of AD 802,701. In His travels, he encounters a group of people called the Elois, a society of small, elegant, child-like adults that live in small communities within large and futuristic yet slowly deteriorating buildings, and having a fruit-based diet. Trouble ensues as the scientist discovers that his time machine was stolen by people called the Morlocks, an ape-like troglodyte that live underground and feed upon the Elois. The time traveller sets out to danger to recover his machine and return to his own timeline.
