Synopsis

The Man Who Could Work Miracles by H. G. Wells - What if you had the power to change reality with a single thought? An ordinary man discovers his limitless abilities—only to learn that absolute power comes with devastating consequences. The Man Who Could Work Miracles was first published in 1898 in The Illustrated London News.
Herbert George Wells (1866–1946) was an English writer best known for his pioneering works in science fiction. Often called “The Father of Science Fiction” alongside Jules Verne and Hugo Gernsback, Wells wrote classics like The War of the Worlds, The Time Machine, The Invisible Man, and The Island of Doctor Moreau.
H.G. Wells’ short story The Man Who Could Work Miracles follows George McWhirter Fotheringay, an ordinary man who suddenly discovers he has the ability to perform miracles at will. Initially skeptical, he experiments with small tricks before realizing the true extent of his power.
