Synopsis

A Moth by H. G. Wells - Two bitter rival scientists are locked in a feud that consumes their lives, but nature has a strange way of taking sides. When an eerie moth appears, the battle takes an unexpected and unsettling turn. 
H.G. Wells (1866–1946) was an English writer, historian, and futurist, best known as one of the pioneers of science fiction. Born in Bromley, England, he trained as a scientist under T.H. Huxley, which influenced his fascination with evolutionary theory and speculative fiction. His groundbreaking novels, including The Time Machine (1895), The War of the Worlds (1898), and The Invisible Man (1897), explored time travel, alien invasions, and scientific hubris, shaping the genre’s future. A prolific writer, Wells also penned social commentaries, predicting technological advancements and global conflicts with eerie accuracy. His works often carried themes of class struggle, ethics, and human progress. Beyond fiction, he was an outspoken socialist and advocate for world peace. His visionary storytelling continues to inspire science fiction writers and filmmakers, securing his legacy as the “father of science fiction.
