Synopsis

Settling into a new life away from the Nottlegum’s garden, Lucy and Lou enjoy the kindness of their elderly hosts and relish the safety and comfort of their cosy nest. Grateful for their trusted guides, they delight in exploring the garden and sharing special times with their new friends. As they learn and grow, they are again reminded to heed wisdom that comes from experience and this protects them on more than one occasion. They also navigate the delicate mix of emotions involved in cherishing old memories alongside the joy of new experiences, and they discover a valuable lesson in the process. It is possible to miss the old while embracing the new.
