Sinopse

Theo Vance is one of the most gifted political speechwriters in the capital—able to bend a crowd with a turn of phrase, to thread emotion into policy until both feel inseparable. But lately, he’s been waking to find entire speeches on his laptop that he has no memory of writing. The words are sharper, the arguments more precise, and the rhetoric unsettlingly persuasive… and yet, they read as if they’ve been in his mind all along.

At first, Theo chalks it up to exhaustion. Long nights. Campaign pressure. But when colleagues praise drafts he doesn’t recall sending, and his partner notices him speaking in phrases he’s never used before, the explanation starts to slip away.

Haunted by dreams of rallies he’s never attended and a recurring infinity loop hidden in his files, Theo turns to Naomi, an old friend in cybersecurity. What she hints at is darker than he imagined: an invisible hand that doesn’t just write through him—it writes him.

As the speeches spread, so does the unease. Theo must untangle the truth from the words in his own mouth before they’re no longer his to speak. But with every page he opens, every phrase he reads, the line between self and something else grows thinner.

How do you fight a voice that speaks in your own tone? And when the world starts listening to it… will you even want to?

The indefatigable Miss Phryne Fisher returns to solve what may be her most puzzling murder.

When Phryne Fisher is invited to Bendigo to witness the investiture of her old friend Lionel, who is being made a Bishop, her expectations of the solemn and dignified ceremony do not include a murder.

Phryne is soon working with perspicacious local Constable Watson and eagle-eyed Inspector Mick Kelly to identify the perpetrator. It becomes quickly apparent the murder victim had been an overzealous deacon with a nose for trouble. Nobody seems very inclined to mourn his passing.

Applying her quick wits and magnetic charm, Phryne and her expanding team of sleuths discover murky layers of church politics, social scandals and business scams and blackmail. Soon, various suspects begin to form a long list, all with excellent motives for killing the deacon. Could the murderer be his own wife? A visiting dignitary? The mysterious organist? The angelic Brookes? The unemployed teacher? And why is the Bishop's Court being burgled?

Meanwhile the clock is ticking ... Will Phryne be able to bring to light the proof she needs before the killer strikes again or disappears completely?

YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES & JOHN WATSON
The case of the missing baby.
This completely new story I have written involves the 10 year old boys who will be the great detective Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, his assistant, when they grow up, this is their formative years where they perfect their skills before adulthood on what my appear to be inconsequential subjects, but the principle remains the same.
This is just one of an extensive series I will be publishing as audio books in the very near future and I do hope you enjoy this first one, and its only $1.25 cents, all subsequent will remain at that price as I would not like price to be a barrier to your enjoyment.
I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, a violin Holme's musical instrument of choice and is energetic and the closing music ends the tale on a more restrained mode and only about 1 minute.
The story itself runs to about 7 minutes 30 seconds and is of course a short story, it is read in my own voice.
The story involves the the disappearance of a baby, Albert just 2 months old, from his pram that Nanny Beatrice was responsible for. Albert was the son of the British Ambassador, Sir Eustace Carmichael, who lived in a magnificent Townhouse in Westminster. The baby was found hidden in a wardrobe upstairs to try and distract Sir Eustace.
Needless to say Holmes solves the mystery, discovers baby Albert and is praised by Sir Eustace as being incredibly astute for his age.
The stories are designed to be entertaining to children of age around 6 to 10 years old due to the characters involved.
I do hope you and you children, if applicable, enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!
