  Once I sat on the Pacific Ocean and meditated. A vast consciousness surrounded me and I felt as if I was one with that vast consciousness. Later, I came back to an individual consciousness. I would read about this oneness experience, warned that this is māyā, illusion. In retrospect, this path of illusion (Mayavada) was enlightened by the spiritual master (Prabhupāda) who felt compassion with this delusioned seeker. Śrīla Prabhupāda thus captured the heart of the spiritual traveler and entranced him to follow the principles of Hare Kṛṣṇa - chant, dance & feast. Thus engaged in Bhakti, one can taste true satisfaction and happiness which is derived of detachment and practice. By following a simple life and chanting the Mantra that liberates the mind, the path of surrender is cleared. By surrendering to the divine discipline, the spiritual master and transcendental literature, one is assured devotional service, the greatest achievement of human life.
