~~~~~ Excerpt ~~~~~
My name is Michelle. I’m just an ordinary woman who just happens to work in an extraordinary and I must say, a very enjoyable job! The alarm clock wakes me from a beautiful and peaceful slumber. I wipe the sleep out of my eyes and begin to get ready for another sexually active day at Pleasure Boudoir. Run by an expert MILF, Crystal, a fifty-year-old stunning and desirable woman who’s had more lovers than myself and all of my friends put together, she knocks on my door and stands there with her immaculately-painted red fingernails gripping her curvaceous hips. She’s dressed in a no-nonsense but very sexy outfit.
“Good morning, Michelle. Hurry up please. Mr. Owens will be here in an hour and I need you to knock him for six with your drop-dead gorgeousness. If you can be ready in half an hour, I’ll see to it that you get an extra $50 in your account.”
I yawn loudly and stretch my amazing eighteen-year-old body like a cat’s. “Okay, I’ll skip the coffee. I’ll get in the shower first and then do my hair and make-up later. I won’t let you down.”
“No, you won’t, otherwise you’ll get a spanking over my knees again like yesterday. I think you do it on purpose because who wouldn’t enjoy a spanking from me, eh?” Crystal said, winking at the mischievous brunette.
I shoot her a grin and watch her shimmy her way back out of the room as her see-through black chiffon nightdress and dressing-gown show off her incredible body, even if she is thirty-two years older than I am. I feel quite envious of her looks and the confidence that she brims with is something I constantly strive to emulate. As I resist the temptation to press the snooze button on my alarm clock, I drag myself out of cream satin sheets and sit on the edge of the bed to gather my thoughts about the day’s activities.
    For the seventy-fifth anniversary of 1984, Laura Beers explores George Orwell's still-radical ideas and why they are critical today.
    George Orwell devoted his career to exposing social injustice and political duplicity, urging his readers to face hard truths about Western society and politics. Now, the uncanny parallels between the interwar era and our own—rising inequality, censorship, and challenges to traditional social hierarchies—make his writing even more of the moment. In Orwell's Ghosts, historian Laura Beers considers Orwell's full body of work—his six novels, three nonfiction works, as well as his brilliant essays—to examine what "Orwellian" means and to take it out of the hands of political pundits. She explores how Orwell's writing on free speech addresses the proliferation of "fake news," highlights his vivid critiques of capitalism, and, in contrast, analyzes his failure to understand feminism. Timely, wide-ranging, and thought-provoking, Orwell's Ghosts investigates how the writings of a lionized champion of truth and freedom can help us face the crises of modernity.
    The foreign athlete invited me back to his apartment. He showed me a “special” exercise they do in his country.
    This is getting weird. I’m sitting in bed with a champion wrestler. He’s showing me “gay femboy” porn on his laptop.
    “You need this. You need a larger, more powerful man in your life.”
    His words seep into my brain while my eyes stay transfixed on the screen. My heart races. My palms sweat. I can’t look away from this incredible sight.
    Aristotle
    Aristotle's Poetics (Greek: Περὶ ποιητικῆς; Latin: De Poetica) is the earliest surviving work of dramatic theory and first extant philosophical treatise to focus on literary theory. In it, Aristotle offers an account of what he calls "poetry" (a term that derives from a classical Greek term, ποιητής, that means "poet; author; maker" and in this context includes verse drama – comedy, tragedy, and the satyr play – as well as lyric poetry and epic poetry). They are similar in the fact that they are all imitations but different in the three ways that Aristotle describes: Differences in music rhythm, harmony, meter and melody. Difference of goodness in the characters.Difference in how the narrative is presented: telling a story or acting it out. In examining its "first principles", Aristotle finds two: 1) imitation and 2) genres and other concepts by which that of truth is applied/revealed in the poesis. His analysis of tragedy constitutes the core of the discussion. Although Aristotle's Poetics is universally acknowledged in the Western critical tradition, "almost every detail about his seminal work has aroused divergent opinions". The work was lost to the Western world for a long time. It was available in the Middle Ages and early Renaissance only through a Latin translation of an Arabic version written by Averroes.Aristotle's work on aesthetics consists of the Poetics, Politics and Rhetoric. The Poetics is specifically concerned with drama. At some point, Aristotle's original work was divided in two, each "book" written on a separate roll of papyrus.
    DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT THE OFFICIAL BOOK.
    This is a summary, & it does not accompany the official
    In "Good Inside" by Becky Kennedy, parents are offered a transformative perspective and practical tools to shift from feelings of frustration and self-blame to empowerment and confident leadership in parenting. Dr. Becky challenges the traditional model of child-rearing, which relies on rewards, punishments, and behavior modification techniques that often fail to address children's complex emotional needs and long-term skill development. Instead, she introduces a profound and simple truth: both parents and children have inherent goodness within them. There are no "bad kids" or "bad parents"; there are only good kids struggling and good parents striving to fulfill their roles effectively.
    Dr. Becky advocates for a shift in focus from discipline to connection, emphasizing the importance of secure attachment in helping children navigate challenging times. "Good Inside" serves as both a manifesto and a practical guide, promoting self-development for parents alongside child development. It provides strategies for shifting perspectives and offers troubleshooting advice for specific parenting scenarios, such as sibling rivalry, separation anxiety, tantrums, and more. This book empowers a generation of parents to raise their children in a way that fosters resilience, confidence, and self-regulation, all while recognizing and nurturing the innate goodness in themselves and their kids.
