Synopsis

In the year 2066, New California has split from the United States to create a "decolonized" utopia built on the principles of Anti-Racism and Social Justice. Nineteen-year-old Quinceton Rift navigates this brave new world where identity determines status, speech is strictly regulated, and government-sanctioned "cancellations" are public spectacle.

When Quinceton is deployed to the militarized Nevada border as a sniper, he witnesses the catastrophic Battle of South Lake Tahoe—a suicide mission engineered by the ruling class. Surviving against all odds, he begins to question the rigid ideology that governs his society. His journey takes him from the oppressive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Camps to hidden communities in the mountains, where he discovers people living free from identity politics.

As San Francisco prepares for the prestigious SOMA MOMA Momalla Gala, tensions between rival factions threaten to erupt. Caught between the ruling Anti-Racists and the ambitious Anti-Anti-Anti-Racists who enforce the law, Quinceton must decide where his loyalties lie. With the help of Natalie, a woman trapped in the inner circle of power, and his long-lost father, he joins a resistance movement determined to expose the hypocrisy at the heart of this supposedly equitable society.

"Wokelynd" is a provocative exploration of how good intentions can lead to authoritarian control, and how authentic human connection might be our only salvation from ideological extremism.

If you enjoyed "1984," "Brave New World," and "The Mandibles," you'll love "Wokelynd."

Especially not when she insists on sticking her nose into his case, where it doesn’t belong. And just when Doreen is certain things can’t get any worse, answering her doorbell shows her that this nightmare has just started. Who just walked into her life? None other than her soon-to-be-ex-husband, … Mathew …

The greatest album ever recorded was made after the end of the world.
Forged by a megalithic stone and two dogs in the ruins of humanity, The MineralTail remains the most mysterious record in existence—a masterpiece of ingenuity, passion, and divine accident. For decades, it has topped every chart and defied every explanation. Now, for the first time, comes the true story of how it was made.
From the drum machine planet to the abduction of Nick Drake, from the riffs of the Great God Pan to cosmic acts of musical rebellion, Justin Robertson’s psychedelic odyssey rewires the myths of creation through feedback, faith, and rhythm.
Part cosmic comedy, part rock ’n’ roll revelation, The MineralTail is a love letter to sound itself - a reminder that music is not just heard, but dreamed into being.
The MineralTail audiobook is narrated by the author and features original music from the album to bring the psychedelic odyssey to life.

If you’re looking for the perfect holiday read, with lots of romance and laugh out loud comedy, then curl up with the third entry in the Dartmouth Diaries...

It’s not often that a fledgling career in Event Management kicks off with the wedding of a Hollywood superstar. Of course the fact that this particular Hollywood star is marrying her best friend might have had something to do with the fact that former art gallery owner, Kit Davies landed the job. That, and the fact that she was about to become homeless and penniless… But organizing her friend Victory’s big fat Hollywood wedding in the small yachting haven of Dartmouth without alerting the media is not for the faint hearted, and Kit very quickly realizes that she’s way out of her depth - especially as the bride to be has a secret of her own that is rapidly changing her disposition from a fairy tale Cinderella to a would-be Bridezilla.

And then there are the ongoing machinations of Victory’s father, who not only has his own agenda, but has decades of experience in the art of being slippery and evasive...

Inviting Hollywood to Dartmouth might actually be the least of Kit’s worries…

All For Victory is the perfect laugh-out-loud, feel good book for fans of funny love stories

Celebrate Adrian Mole's 50th Birthday with this new edition of the FIFTH BOOK in his diaries, where Adrian faces divorce, fatherhood and (short-lived) television stardom . . .

Adrian Mole is thirty, single and a father.

His cooking at a top London restaurant has been equally mocked ('the sausage on my plate could have been a turd') and celebrated (will he be the nation's first celebrity offal chef?).

And the love of his life, Pandora Braithwaite, is too busy as the newly elected MP for Ashby-de-la-Zouch to notice him.

Frustrated, disappointed and undersexed, Adrian despairs until a letter from his past changes everything . . .

'With the Mole books, Townsend has an unrivalled claim to be this country's foremost practising comic novelist' MAIL ON SUNDAY

'Adrian Mole really is a brilliant comic creation. Every sentence is witty and well thought out, and the whole has reverberations beyond itself' THE TIMES

'One of the greatest comic creations. I can't remember a more relentlessly funny book' DAILY MIRROR

'Three cheers for Mole's chaotic, non-achieving, dysfunctional family. We need him' EVENING STANDARD
