Synopsis

Adapted and illustrated edition of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow at easy-to-read level for a new generation of readers aged 7+.

Ichabod Crane moves to the haunted town of Sleepy Hollow and falls in love with Katrina Van Tassel. They bond over singing and ghost stories, especially the story about the Headless Horseman. But Katrina is being courted by the rich and handsome Brom Brunt, who warns Ichabod away from her. Ichabod refuses to be scared – until the terrifying Horseman appears and challenges him to a race he cannot win.
