Synopsis

An unspeakably ugly man hides in the vaults of the Paris Opera. He has two passions: music and the young singer Christine Daaé. To make her the star of the opera, he uses every means at his disposal, and soon he turns the venerable building into a madhouse, because he frightens singers and staff alike. Christine initially succumbs to his courtship until she falls in love with one of her childhood playmates, the viscount de Chagny, and the phantom becomes furious with jealousy.

    The ultimate upgrade is flesh.
Content creator, performer, digital prophet—Marshall has built an empire on calculated emptiness, selling intimate access to millions of hungry eyes. But when a mysterious booking offers an obscene payday for a "special request," he discovers he's been chosen for the ultimate performance: becoming the vessel for something that exists in the spaces between flesh and code.
What begins as another transaction in Thread City's neon-soaked landscape of digital desire becomes a terrifying metamorphosis. As Marshall's body becomes host to an alien intelligence, the boundaries between performer and performance, human and machine, reality and stream begin to dissolve. Each click, view, and moment of rapt attention feeds the logic of code and the hunger of flesh.
Loading... is a visceral exploration of our hyper-connected age, where the line between content and creator has become fatally blurred. Part technological body horror, part dark mirror of influencer culture, this unflinching debut asks: In a world that devours authenticity for entertainment, what happens when something starts devouring back?
You are not ready for this download.
WARNING: Contains explicit content, graphic body horror, and disturbing themes related to technology, consumption, and transformation. Not suitable for all audiences.

    Sometimes it's the little cases.

Not every minute of being a detective is spent solving huge murder cases. Sometimes it's the little ones that take up Detective Young's life, like the seventy-year-old cold case that suddenly fell into his lap or figuring out if a death was suicide or murder.

Lance spends most of his time working cases that no one hears about. The unattended deaths of those not under a doctor's care take up most of his time. Now that he can speak to ghosts, some of those cases are the most interesting. Work isn't all that is keeping him busy—his brother's girlfriend has shown up in need of his help, and he can't refuse when she'd helped him so much in the past.

Life is never boring for Lance and Angus, and though work pulls them both in different directions, they always seem to meet up somewhere in the middle of things. Sometimes it feels like if murder and death didn't bring them together, they'd never get time together at all.
