This book will challenge the most discouraged Christian as well Non Christian believers that Jesus Christ is Our LORD and Savior. Leonard C. DeGrate Jr, an Ordained Deacon reveals that Religion fulfills the hierarchy by merely providing mental assurance needed for human beings to grow spiritually.
An even simpler explanation is that a particular religious systems provides individuals with a pathway to enhance their spiritualism and mental health in a positive manner. Matthew 7: 7-8 in the Bible says "Ask, and you will receive. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. Everyone who asks will receive. Everyone who searches will find. And the door will be opened for everyone who knocks."

    Is God Calling You? -...

How do you know if God is calling you or not? How can you know? Dr. Thiel gives many scriptures that help you know if God is calling you. Many verses from the Bible are presented to prove that it is only a very small flock that is being called by God during the church age, the age we are now in - John 6: 65 "Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father." Not everyone is being called by God at this time.
Are you one of the elect? Are you one that is being called now? If so, why? Why is God calling you now? What is the purpose of your calling? Dr. Thiel answers this question with another verse from the Bible - 31 even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all. (Romans 11:31-32). God is calling you now so that, through you, God might have mercy on all!
What an awesome calling! You, if you accept God's call and overcome until the end, will have the opportunity to help multiple thousands, perhaps millions of others come to God in the age to come - 26 And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations — (Revelation 2:26).
If you are being called now, Dr. Thiel provides verses that prove you were predestined to be called. But you must accept that calling. The choice is up to you. God won't force you to become part of His family.
If God is calling you, what about the others? Are they lost? No! Dr. Thiel makes plain with many scriptures that God wants to have mercy on all, each in their own order.
He is calling you now to help you develop Godly character. God's character is love. By developing true Godly love you will help make eternity a better place for all.

People today encounter a dizzying array of religious options. We might consider mystical faiths like Buddhism and Hinduism, historical religions like Islam and Mormonism, or more nebulous modern expressions of being spiritual but not religious or religious but not spiritual. How do we know what is true? Is one faith just as good as another?

Trial lawyer Mark Lanier presents the claims made by the world's great religions, discusses their histories, and cross-examines their witnesses (their scriptures and traditions) to determine whether their claims are worthy of belief. With his keen legal mind and methodical style, he provides a careful comparative study, highlighting key truths he finds in each religion even as he offers critiques. Treating each perspective on its own terms and weighing the worldviews for consistency and livability, Lanier assesses evidence for and against belief systems with criteria for what constitutes sufficient proof.

Believers and unbelievers alike will find here perceptive insights into how we can make sense of competing religious claims and what difference it makes for our own lives.
