Summary

What is Neoclassical Synthesis

The neoclassical synthesis (NCS), Neoclassical-Keynesian Synthesis, or just neo-Keynesianism was a neoclassical economics academic movement and paradigm in economics that worked towards reconciling the macroeconomic thought of John Maynard Keynes in his book The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money (1936). It was formulated most notably by John Hicks (1937), Franco Modigliani (1944), and Paul Samuelson (1948), who dominated economics in the post-war period and formed the mainstream of macroeconomic thought in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s.

THE ULTIMATE TRIVIA AND CURIOUS FACTS COLLECTION

    CREATED BY TRIVIA HUB

Quentin Tarantino is an American filmmaker, actor, and author known for his stylized violence, extended dialogue, and pop culture references. His films often feature non-linear storylines, mundane conversations, and homages to his favorite films. He began his career with Reservoir Dogs (1992) and achieved major success with Pulp Fiction (1994). He plans to retire after making ten films. Tarantino also produces and presents films, owns two movie theaters, and is a recognized film critic. He is known for using his own fictional brands in his films, and for his use of music from the 1960s and 70s. He has been involved in several controversies, including his use of racial slurs, and his defense of Roman Polanski.

    CURIOUS FACT SAMPLES:

Quentin Tarantino's mother named him, in part, after a character from the TV series Gunsmoke, Quint Asper. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1963, but moved to Los Angeles with his mother at the age of three.

Tarantino has claimed to have Cherokee ancestry through his mother and Italian ancestry through his father. His father, an aspiring actor, left the family before his birth.

At the age of 14, Tarantino wrote a screenplay called Captain Peachfuzz and the Anchovy Bandit, which was based on the movie Smokey and the Bandit. His mother ridiculed his writing skills, leading him to vow to never share his future wealth with her.

As a teenager, Tarantino shoplifted a novel from Kmart and was grounded by his mother, only allowed to attend theater. He dropped out of high school at the age of 15.
