  Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is a 2010 action-comedy film directed by Edgar Wright, based on the graphic novel series by Bryan Lee O'Malley. The story follows Scott Pilgrim, a 22-year-old bassist in the indie rock band Sex Bob-Omb, who falls for Ramona Flowers, an enigmatic woman with a complicated past. To win her heart, Scott must face and defeat her seven evil exes in a series of surreal, video game-inspired battles. The film blends visual effects, comic book elements, and fast-paced action with themes of love, self-discovery, and personal growth, all wrapped in a quirky, energetic tone.

  Joseph Frank "Buster" Keaton (October 4, 1895 - February 1, 1966), born in Piqua, Kansas, was an American actor, comedian and filmmaker. He is best known for his silent films during the 1920s, in which he performed physical comedy and inventive stunts. He frequently maintained a stoic, deadpan facial expression that became his trademark and earned him the nickname "The Great Stone Face." In the following recording, from an April 17, 1964 television interview, Keaton reflects on his sixty-year career in show business.

  The following two recordings include Mr. Rogers' speeches for his 1997 Emmy Award, and his 1999 induction into the TV Critics' Television Hall of Fame. In the second clip, wheelchair-bound Jeff Erlanger, who had appeared on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood as a boy, surprises Mr. Rogers with his on-stage presentation. Mr. Rogers goes on to address the audience of television celebrities and producers, and asks the poignant question, "How do we make goodness attractive?" 
   
  Fred McFeely Rogers (March 20, 1928 - February 27, 2003), better known as Mister Rogers, was an American television host, author, producer, and Presbyterian minister. He was the creator, showrunner, and host of the preschool television series Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, which ran from 1968 to 2001.

  Julius Franklin Howell was born in Suffolk, Virginia, in 1846. He enlisted in the Confederate States Army in 1862 and served in the 24th Virginia Cavalry until 1864 when his regiment was moved to the north of Richmond as Robert E. Lee and Ulysses S. Grant fought near Petersburg. Howell took part in the cavalry charge against Union artillery and infantry at a clearing near the Darbytown Road, during which he was shot in the leg. After his recovery, Howell returned to fight and was captured at the Battle of Sailor's Creek in Amelia County, Virginia, on April 6, 1865, and held in a Union prison at Point Lookout, MD. when he heard about the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. After the war, he became an educator, preserving the memories of the Confederate soldier and serving as Commander-in-Chief of the United Confederate Veterans for decades. In 1947, he gave the following recording about his wartime experiences. He died a year later at the age of 102.
