Synopsis

Darkly hilarious, Shorter than the day is Veep meets Dr Strangelove, perfect for those looking for fast-paced political sci-fi satire about our own strange times. 
End-of-days war between the US, China, and Europe is threatening. Migrant children are being turned into war robots; and people’s emotions are almost entirely controlled by their smart-watches. This is the world in which Adriana de Tocville accidentally becomes President of the United States. A committed anarcho-syndicalist, her views are radically at odds with the establishment. How can she negotiate weird cult leaders, murderous Generals, super-intelligent AI and her craving for donuts to stop humanity succumbing to extinction?
