Synopsis

A wealthy man with a critically ill wife seeks the help of Matthew Hiller, a world-class neurosurgeon with a thriving practice. In addition to facing a difficult professional challenge, Matthew confronts the most brutal emotional crisis of his life: the lovely patient, Silvia, was his lover years ago. Fighting to save her, Matthew recalls their first meeting in Paris and the sadness that ensued. Will he operate successfully only to lose her again, or will a second chance at life mean a second chance at love?
