Synopsis

How does a boy know when he becomes a man? When he becomes 21 years old? It’s a mystery and far too many young African American Males are trying to solve this mystery without a clue. Eonje Right, Jr. (the main character in this novel), who is known to his friends as simply “E”; is typical of the young black men who grew up during the Baby Boom years after WWII, looking for a way to distinguish himself. The characters in this composition are fictional, but they are based on actual experiences. Many of those who read this coming of age story may know individuals that are very familiar to some of the personalities depicted here.ENTER DESCRIPTION HERE
