This is a specially curated, abridged edition. The full, unabridged edition will be available soon.
In a world where we can feel so disconnected, bogged down by the motions and minutes that steal dreams and tuck the self out of sight, Muses and Muscle Memory: The Audio Experience invites you to sneak away and reconnect. There are moments — beautiful, chaotic, and in-between — that make us who we are; they're as ingrained as the bones beneath our skin. And there are muses — bursts or bodies — that inspire us to feel, to explore, to change, or to appreciate. But we need the space: to think, to remember, to create, or just to be.
Narrated by the author, Chris-Ann Miche, and sound designed by Joel Young, each poem pulls you into a vivid landscape of words, with sounds from everyday life, that ask you to sit, listen, breathe, and contemplate.
Touching on complicated themes like memory, grief, desire, love, fear, freedom, and more, Chris-Ann comes out of intellectual hiding to lead you through glimpses of her past and present, to give you a safe place to get lost, a secure place to feel, to linger in nostalgia, to explore longing and warmth, while considering what’s to come, away from the noise of the world.
In the words of RaeChelle-Faith Hamilton, "Chris-Ann truly has a gift. Her uncanny ability to pull you into her world, while evoking treasured moments from your own experiences, reflects empathy, and true craftsmanship. Her collection not only narrates her own life's questions, but beautifully and effectively reflects how we may also perceive the world, but are unable to find the words. Chris-Ann has not only found her voice but has managed to help us find our own.”

Frederick Albert Cook (June 10, 1865 - August 5, 1940) was an American explorer and physician noted for his claims of achieving the first summit of Mount McKinley, in September 1906, and having reached the North Pole on April 21, 1908, which would have been a year before Robert Peary. Both claims have been largely discredited. Later, Dr. Cook was a founding member of the Arctic Club and Explorers Club.
Robert Edwin Peary, Sr. (May 6, 1856 - February 20, 1920) was an American explorer who claimed to have led the first expedition, on April 6, 1909, to reach the geographic North Pole.
Peary's claim was widely accepted for most of the 20th century, rather than the competing claim by Frederick Cook who said he got there a year earlier. More recently, historians generally believe Cook did not reach the pole, and there are grave doubts that Peary did, though he may have been as close as five miles.
Sir Ernest Henry Shackleton (February 1874 - January 5, 1922) was an Anglo-Irish polar explorer and one of the principal figures of the period known as the Heroic Age of Antarctic Exploration.
In January 1909 - as leader of the Nimrod Expedition - he and three companions made a southern march which established a record-farthest south latitude at 88 degrees 23' S - some 97 geographical from the South Pole - the closest convergence in exploration history up to that time. For this achievement, Shackleton was knighted by King Edward VII on his return home.

Running out of Saturdays is a warm, witty and unapologetically honest memoir from Peter Brewer –
a big-hearted larrikin with a whiteboard full of wisdom and a yarn (or 50) to tell.
Now in his mid-60s, Peter reflects on a life jam-packed with colourful characters, career moves (some undeniably
questionable), boisterous family gatherings and boardroom lessons. From his humble beginnings to becoming
a respected leader in the real estate industry, PB’s learned – often the hard way – what really matters in business,
    family and life.
Every chapter is delivered with humour, heart and a healthy dose of hindsight. Along the way, you’ll meet
a host of unforgettable personalities and pick up powerful leadership and life lessons tucked between the laughs.
This isn’t just a memoir. It’s a timely reminder that we’re all running out of Saturdays. That life moves fast. That success
without heart isn’t worth much. And that the best stories are often the ones we’re brave enough to tell, warts and all.
So take a seat, pour yourself a drink, and let Peter Brewer remind you how to live, laugh and leave a legacy –
one unforgettable Saturday at a time.
