Nathalie, the inn's owner, is in a state of shock... until she finds out that the "victim" is part of the "Poisoners' Club", an assembly of approximately two dozen pharmacists who gather annually in the quaint town of Earlsraven. Their convention promises an evening of amusement, in the form of activities such as "Guess that Side Effect", "Pill Popping Bingo", and, a crowd favourite, "What's Your Poison?" The powerful new fantasy romance for fans of Lauren Roberts, Rebecca Ross and Stephanie Garber.'You are my dearest destruction, my beguiling foe … and my Fated choice.'
The Holy States have excommunicated Halice and recalled its Holy Servants, and blocked trade to the wounded city. Renza Di Maneri and her fellow members of the High Chamber are running out of time and have few good options. So when Renza’s Soulhate, Idris Patricelli, suggests inviting mercenaries behind the city walls, in a bid to secure protection against Halice’s righteous foe, she is forced to agree.
But the mercenaries bring death into the High Chamber, and their presence exposes a spy in Halice’s ranks, the city's future plunges further into unrest. For the second time Renza realises that Idris might be the man Fate commands her to destroy, but he is the only person she can trust. She knows she should stay away from him, not let herself get distracted by the man destined to be her undoing. But as conspiracies abound and threats get personal, Renza has no choice but to trust him, with her beloved city, with her life and her heart.Praise for Hannah Kingsley

This is volume 3 of 4.The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman (or, more briefly, Tristram Shandy) is a novel by Laurence Sterne. It was published in nine volumes, the first two appearing in 1759, and seven others following over the next 10 years. It was not always held in high esteem by other writers (Samuel Johnson responded that, "Nothing odd can last"), but its bawdy humour was popular with London society, and it has come to be seen as one of the greatest comic novels in English, as well as a forerunner for many modern narrative devices.
