Synopsis

This small advertisement sparks something long dormant in the reluctant hearts of two downcast London women – the possibility of happiness.Meet Mrs. Wilkins and Mrs. Arbuthnot. Both are churchgoers, and very good, dutiful wives – they do everything that is expected of them. And they are both incredibly unhappy.
