Kade’s loyalties are tangled in something far more treacherous than any of us realized.
Reese seems desperate to make amends, and I hate to say, he’s growing on me.
    And Artemis….
Well, she won’t wake up. According to Gabriel, she might not ever.

"The Hound" is a short story written by H. P. Lovecraft in September 1922 and published in the February 1924 issue of Weird Tales. It contains the first mention of Lovecraft's fictional text the Necronomicon. The story opens with the unnamed narrator preparing to commit suicide. Lamenting his fate, he reflects upon the events which led him to this moment. The narrator and his friend, St. John, are a pair of loners who both have a deranged interest in robbing graves. They constantly defile crypts and often keep souvenirs of their nocturnal expeditions. Since they reside in the same house, they have the opportunity to set up a sort of morbid museum in their basement. Using the objects collected from the various graves they have robbed, the two men organize a private exhibition. The collection consists of headstones, preserved bodies, skulls, and several heads in different phases of decomposition. It also includes statues, frightful paintings, and a locked portfolio bound in tanned human skin. One day, the two learn of a particular grave, which sparks a profound interest in them: an old grave in a Holland cemetery which holds a legendary tomb raider within, one who is said to have stolen, many years ago, a "potent thing from a mighty sepulchre." They travel to the old cemetery where the man was buried...

Across continents, cultures, and generations, ghost stories rise from the shadows in strikingly similar forms—cries in the river mist, footsteps in the bamboo, a hound that remembers the dead, a creature stalking livestock under the plains' moonlight.
World of the Unseen is a chilling collection that gathers twelve uncanny encounters from around the world, each told in vivid, first-person voices that feel whispered across a kitchen table at midnight.
From Japan's haunted bamboo groves to Mexico's weeping river spirit, from spectral hounds on the English moorlands to modern legends like the chupacabra, these stories blend folklore, lived testimony, cultural memory, and atmospheric horror.

This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice.
    “They say art imitates life.
But here, art demands the sacrifice of life.
    The students bleed,
    and we—
    we applaud their devotion.”
—From the diary of Madame E.
    Some places remember pain;
Not as memory, but as hunger.
Not in the way we humans remember, with trauma,
but deeper—like a house that groans for what once happened within its wall.
There is a ballet academy hidden in the folds of the Carpathians, carved into the woods like a secret no one dares to speak aloud. It welcomes young women dancers from across Europe-those who dream of perfection, of ovations, of fame.
But perfection demands sacrifice. And some sacrifices never end.
Elisa, our protagonist, arrives at the reclusive ballet academy,
tucked away in a forgotten corner of Europe,
a place steeped in rigid tradition and unyielding discipline.
But it doesn’t take long before the unease begins to seep in.
The mirrors do not reflect as they should—
    Some bleed.
The students move with eerie precision,
like marionettes whose strings are pulled from somewhere unseen.
    And then,
    one by one,
    they begin to disappear.
Inspired by classic European horror films, this chilling and suspenseful tale follows the protagonist, Elisa, as she enrolls in a secluded ballet school located in a remote corner of Europe. There, she begins to experience strange occurrences and gradually uncovers the dark secrets hidden within the school’s elegant façade.
