Synopsis

A cannibalistic serial killer targeting gay men is on the loose.

Devin, who has become increasingly erratic in the last two months, just split up with Gary, his lover of three years. Vanni, a habitué of the gay clubs, makes extra spending money on his knees in the club johns. Is one of these men the killer? Or will one of them instead become the killer's next target?

Detective Hollis Robbins is in charge of the case. He intends to stop the killer, if he can.

When the killer strikes again the four men's lives intertwine as the search for the murderer intensifies. Will the attraction that two of them begin to feel for each other survive the hunt? Do they have the strength to continue on after tragedy strikes and teaches them that love can be bittersweet?

When Curt Huntinghawk, a twenty-two-year-old Northern Plains Indian, hooks up with the Colorados Rezagados, a group of Southwestern tribesmen contracted by the US Border Patrol to hunt drug runners along the Mexican border, he recognizes it's a necessary move to save himself from a life of alcoholism, but he has no idea he'll turn out to be one of the best at his new profession. Dangerous? Yeah, but it's as close to living the life of a warrior as he can find, and that restores his self-respect and sense of honor.
But when he saves a young man trying to cross the border across the deadly Sonoran Desert, he doesn't suspect the youth's intimate way of showing his gratitude will shake his woman-chasing way of life to its foundation. But that carries its own dangers. How will his running buddy Grove Whitedeer react should he find out about Hawk's sexual deviancy? How will all the Red Rezes, for that matter? One more danger to face while playing cat and mouse with a deadly drug runner he calls Wolverine.

A very long time ago, in the very old forests of Brittany, a werewolf loved a king ...
The Lord Bisclavret has a secret. A family enchantment. A wolf's curse, transforming him when the moon is full. He hopes to be a good lord for his people, and he's always been a loyal king's man, even if the new king is inexperienced and scholarly. But one betrayal might leave him trapped in wolf-shape forever ... unless his king can save him.
Andreas would rather be a University scholar than a king, and has no interest in a royal marriage -- desire's always come slowly, if at all. But he loves his kingdom, so he'll try to protect it, even when rumors of a man-killing wolf spread across his land. He'll pick up a sword and go out on a hunt, and hope to keep his people safe.
But the wolf has the eyes of a man, and the scholar-king's knowledge of folklore and fairy-stories might break a werewolf's curse ... with the help of love.
Very loosely based on the twelfth-century story by Marie de France, Bisclavret features a bisexual werewolf lord, a demisexual king who'd rather be a scholar, some exasperated men-at-arms, and very important stolen clothing.
