Synopsis

A Real-Life Adventure StoryLuz is a fourteen-year-old who decides to leave the country and family he loves for a better life up north. To get to the United States, Luz travels alone through colorful Mexican valleys, mountains, and an unfamiliar desert. He stays strong on his journey across the border by thinking of his family and all the lessons they have taught him. As Luz channels his inner bravery and determination, your child will learn about Mexican border culture and the American immigrant experience.
