For fans of Janet Evanovich, Sandra Brown, and C.J. Box — a romantic mystery set against the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming, where the wilderness is as dangerous as the people.
Maggie Killian used to be somebody. Grammy-winning country star. Multiplatinum album. Country number one hit 'I Hate Cowboys.' Then came the crash, and the long rebuild, and the antique shop in Texas that keeps her mostly out of trouble. Mostly.
She drives to Wyoming in a vintage magenta pickup because she still has Hank Sibley's championship belt buckle — the one she stole when she left him fifteen years ago. She figures she'll surprise him at a bar in Buffalo, they'll talk, and she'll finally give the buckle back. He's already there with a girlfriend. Maggie orders a drink and reevaluates.
When a young cowboy she spent one night with is found bludgeoned to death in a hotel parking lot, the Buffalo PD makes Maggie their leading suspect. Then her truck is sabotaged to keep her on Hank's ranch, someone breaks into her cabin twice, and Hank is shot off his horse on a mountain hunt. She realizes this is no longer a story about a failed reconciliation. It's the story of a stalker who has been watching her for years, and who has crossed a line she cannot walk back from.
Pamela Fagan Hutchins lives on the face of the Bighorn Mountains in Wyoming, and every page of Live Wire proves it. Begin the series with The Maggie Killian Prequels: Buckle Bunny and Shock Jock to understand Maggie's origin story — or start here. Either way, Wyoming will get under your skin.
She came to Wyoming to give back what she stole. Someone came to Wyoming to make sure she didn't leave.
Buy Live Wire to get your next fix of this addictive mystery series today!

YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES & JOHN WATSON
The case of the missing baby.
This completely new story I have written involves the 10 year old boys who will be the great detective Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, his assistant, when they grow up, this is their formative years where they perfect their skills before adulthood on what my appear to be inconsequential subjects, but the principle remains the same.
This is just one of an extensive series I will be publishing as audio books in the very near future and I do hope you enjoy this first one, and its only $1.25 cents, all subsequent will remain at that price as I would not like price to be a barrier to your enjoyment.
I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, a violin Holme's musical instrument of choice and is energetic and the closing music ends the tale on a more restrained mode and only about 1 minute.
The story itself runs to about 7 minutes 30 seconds and is of course a short story, it is read in my own voice.
The story involves the the disappearance of a baby, Albert just 2 months old, from his pram that Nanny Beatrice was responsible for. Albert was the son of the British Ambassador, Sir Eustace Carmichael, who lived in a magnificent Townhouse in Westminster. The baby was found hidden in a wardrobe upstairs to try and distract Sir Eustace.
Needless to say Holmes solves the mystery, discovers baby Albert and is praised by Sir Eustace as being incredibly astute for his age.
The stories are designed to be entertaining to children of age around 6 to 10 years old due to the characters involved.
I do hope you and you children, if applicable, enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!
