Sinopse

Digging in a gravel pit, five children unearth a cantankerous sand-fairy who grants one wish a day, and every wish turns out to be far more trouble than they expect. Wings, gold guineas, a siege and a wish too many follow in rapid succession, with consequences the children must manage before sunset.
