Break Through the Limits of the Brain connects the dots between the discoveries of neuroscience and the meditation-born spiritual experience, and offers proven ways to tap into our superconscious potential.

Joseph Selbie explores the current neuroscientific understanding of the brain's dismaying degree of life-controlling influence on our thoughts, emotions, and behavior, and balances that understanding with neuroscience's discoveries of neuroplasticity and our innate ability to rewire the brain for any new purpose.

Break Through the Limits of the Brain delves into the scientific support for the existence of a subtle, nonlocal reality that strongly suggests that we exist simultaneously in both a subtle and a physical reality—and that our thoughts, life force, emotions, and memories originate nonlocally.

Meditation is a central theme of the book—what it is; how to do it; why it works; its physical, mental, and emotional benefits as measured by neuroscientists; and how it rewires the brain for superconscious awareness.

The book offers proven practices for bringing superconscious awareness into one's life for success, energy, health, peace of mind, and happiness.

For readers who enjoy a dark and mysterious plot with their sexy books, Leo Sparx presents the first installment of this kinky m/m (m/m/m) series inspired by the Edgar Allan Poe stories, “The Murders in the Rue Morgue” and “The Cask of Amontillado.”
At the start of this queer erotic romance, a body is found chained to a wall in a world-famous gay resort. A heartbroken ex-theatre kid turned forensic scientist and an eccentric private detective form an unlikely team to investigate. Through hidden sex mazes, strange drag shows, and forbidden water features, the duo abandons the safety of the morgue, concealing their identities and losing their clothes on the way.
Pulled to the darkness beyond the main area of The Masquerade by his strong sexual appetite, the scientist runs into his ex-boyfriend—and things get really complicated. Meanwhile, he suspects his new strange but sexy investigator friend is hiding more than just his intentions. Rumors abound about a case of small bottles containing the best party favor ever made as a second body is discovered.
The duo ventures deeper to find out who or what is killing the men at The Masquerade. BDSM scenes gone wrong? Accidental overdose? Or is there a serial killer on the loose in the resort? Whatever is killing guests at the massive club, these men seeking the truth begin to suspect they’re next.
It’s Edgar Allan Poe with a queer kinky twist!

Historic True CrimeThe long forgotten true story of two convict "assigned" servant girls, Sarah 18 y/o & Mary 20 y/o, tried in colonial Australia for the murder of their “master”. All the people are real. All court testimonies are real. The blatant unfairness of the trial was also very true. The deceased, Captain Waldron, was a retired army Captain, then gentleman farmer and magistrate. The police investigator, Capt. Allman, was Capt. Waldron's friend, also an ex-army officer from the same regiment and a fellow magistrate. The judge, Burton, was ex-navy. There was no inquest, autopsy or death certificate. There were no marks or bruises on the head of the deceased . The witnesses except for the widow and her 12-year-old son saw no punches, allegedly the cause of death. The attending doctor did not arrive in time to give evidence. Hearsay evidence was admitted. There were no witnesses for the defence. The defence counsel, Rowe, was soon after struck off for pocketing witness expenses. The defendants were not allowed to testify. The jury was seven serving military men and took just 15 minutes deliberation before the verdict. The handwritten transcript of the trial was only recently uncovered. The media of the day called it the most sensational trial Australia had ever had. The verdict caused near riots on the streets of Sydney. The police contingent guarding the girls had to be reinforced. The trial led to such outrage that the government had to intervene. The government referred the case to the King. Three years later the British House of Commons initiated an enquiry into the Transportation of convicts and status of Australia, especially the "assigning" of convicts to private masters, such as were Sarah and Mary. They were effectively slaves. The committee chairman, Molesworth, delivered the final report in 1840. The chairman then moved the motion that would change Australia forever. Queen Victoria by proclamation ended Transportation to NSW a few months later.

    Russia's World Order - How...

The first Cold War was a struggle between capitalism and communism; most Western politicians and policymakers imagine the new one to be a struggle between democracy and autocracy. Russia's World Order explains that in Russian eyes, the conflict is about something very different: it is a fight between two incompatible visions of where history is leading.

Russia's World Order describes the civilizational theory that has come to dominate Russian official discourse, and that has come to dominate Russian official discourse and that is being used to justify its clashes with the West. Whereas the West promotes a vision of history that drives all nations toward convergence on a single model, Russia's political leaders increasingly portray the world as consisting of numerous distinct civilizations, each diverging toward its own destination. The Russian state portrays itself as defending the right of all civilizations to chart their own independent path and is having some success in using this logic to win allies.

Paul Robinson recounts how ideas of inevitable convergence once dominated Russian thought as well but were gradually pushed out by civilizational theories. He outlines where these theories came from, what they propose, and how they became popular. Russia's World Order thereby reveals the true nature of today's New Cold War.
