Synopsis

One thing about author Dee G Suberla is that she did not make things easy for herself. During her early days of drug and alcohol abuse she floated along almost aimlessly. In her early 20s, she started to think differently about her life and finally followed her mom's advice about being able to do anything she put her mind to. She found success in the corporate environment by working her way up the corporate ladder and following her mentor's advice. The result? She was able to retire early to become a consultant. But... before that chapter of life could start, she'd have to move through another monumental challenge. Breast cancer. Even in her darkest hours, Dee found comfort in the power of playing with how she thought about her situation and her life.
